Create, Connect, Cartagena
April 24- April 29, 2025
Meet Your Hosts!
Chari and Amber first met by chance in Cartagena, connected through Akil, the owner of Tiny Village Cartagena—the very place where guests will be staying.
During a dinner together, Chari realized she had saved one of Amber's inspiring posts about Tiny Village Cartagena, which had sparked her own desire to visit.
From that moment, they quickly became friends, bonding over shared adventures, content creation, and supporting each other's focus on travel and mental wellness.
Now, they’ve come together to create Experience Cartagena, Colombia, inviting others to join them on this unique journey of discovery, connection, and creativity.

The Accommodations
Private Island and Tiny Homes
Stay at one of the most unique properties in the world. Tiny Village Cartagena is a Boutique Tiny House Resort just off the coast of Cartagena’s city center. It is a private island that requires a boat to reach.
Boat transportation included.
Our property features 10 beautiful Tiny houses designed to replicate historic Spanish colonial Cartagena. These two-story villas are equipped with two double beds, 15-foot ceilings, a living room, a custom mural, an outdoor patio, a split bathroom with a separate shower, and plenty of storage space for guests.
Tiny Village Cartagena originated in December 2016 when the founder Akil King made his first trip to Cartagena. Captivated by the city’s architecture, beaches, and rich culture, Akil immediately fell in love with the city. Fusing his passion for efficient design, historical architecture and cultural awareness, the vision of Tiny Village Cartagena was born. You can learn more about the story in our Mini-documentary.
